Terms and Conditions

1. SERVICES

Minariel Tutors provides specialist online tutoring services exclusively for neurodivergent learners. Our services include individual tutoring sessions, consultations, assessments, and educational support resources.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

  • All sessions must be booked in advance through our online booking system
  • Payment is required 24 hours before scheduled sessions
  • Individual sessions are charged at £100 per hour
  • Free 30-minute consultations are available for new clients
  • Monthly packages are available and must be paid in advance

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • 24 hours notice required for cancellations or rescheduling
  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full
  • No refunds for student technical issues during online sessions
  • Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis

4. ONLINE SESSIONS

  • All tutoring is conducted online via Zoom or similar platforms
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring reliable internet connection
  • Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and progress tracking
  • Technical issues on the tutor’s side will result in session rescheduling at no charge

5. TUTOR MATCHING

  • We guarantee specialist tutors with neurodivergent experience or SEND qualifications
  • If initial tutor matching is unsuccessful, we will provide alternative specialists at no extra cost
  • Tutor changes may affect scheduling and availability

6. CONFIDENTIALITY

  • All client information is treated as strictly confidential
  • We comply with GDPR and UK data protection regulations
  • Information may be shared with tutors for educational purposes only
  • Parents/guardians consent to information sharing for minors

7. PROGRESS AND REPORTS

  • Regular progress updates will be provided
  • Detailed reports available upon request
  • No guarantee of specific academic outcomes or grade improvements
  • Progress depends on individual effort and engagement

8. BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT

  • Respectful behaviour expected from all parties
  • Inappropriate conduct may result in service termination
  • Zero tolerance for discrimination or harassment
  • Parents responsible for ensuring appropriate learning environment for minors

9. LIABILITY

  • Minariel Tutors’ liability is limited to the cost of services provided
  • We are not responsible for exam results or academic outcomes
  • Professional indemnity insurance covers our tutoring services
  • Clients participate in services at their own risk

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All teaching materials remain property of Minariel Tutors
  • Clients may use materials for personal educational purposes only
  • Recording or sharing of sessions without permission is prohibited
  • Our methodologies and approaches are proprietary

11. COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

  • Complaints should be submitted in writing to minarieltutors@gmail.com
  • We aim to respond to complaints within 5 working days
  • Formal dispute resolution available through relevant professional bodies
  • Refunds considered on individual merit basis

12. TERMINATION

  • Either party may terminate services with 7 days written notice
  • Outstanding payments remain due upon termination
  • Unused session credits may be refunded at our discretion
  • Breach of terms may result in immediate termination

13. DATA PROTECTION

  • We process personal data in accordance with GDPR
  • Data is used for service delivery and improvement only
  • Clients have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data
  • Full privacy policy available separately

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

  • Terms may be updated periodically
  • Clients will be notified of significant changes
  • Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms
  • Previous versions superseded by current terms

15. GOVERNING LAW

  • These terms are governed by English law
  • Disputes subject to jurisdiction of English courts
  • Alternative dispute resolution preferred where possible
